Use the picture clues to write four sentences that complete the story.

It rained all afternoon, so a child folded a paper boat by the window.

When the rain stopped, the child placed the boat in a puddle.

Picture 4
Soon the little boat reached the pond, and the child smiled with joy.
Helpful tip: Ask the child to say the sentence aloud before writing. Encourage full sentences with capitals and punctuation.
